ACT NOW OR ACCEPT RUGA

As we debate RUGA and Fulanization many wailers act like we would not be in this predicament if Atiku were president forgetting that his feeder lots are tantamount in implementation to RUGA.

Whether Atiku or Buhari the objective to appropriate land for the Fulani, the “singular custodians” of Nigeria beef, remains the public policy goal of the federal government as even Goodluck according to reports gave his premature to the project and an idoma man, the minister of Agriculture has not resigned over the proposal.

State governments need to act proactively to thwart seizures of communal lands by creating their own ranches and paying attention to animal husbandry or stand aside and give up land they are not really using for anything to the Fulani who are the only ones serious about preserving the cows we depend on for EXTRA meat and PEPPER soup.

With all the lip service paid to agriculture by Middlebelt Governors why are there no vast tracts of farmland for cow rearing, don’t the Tiv’s have Bua Tiv and other tribes’ other species of cows.

Get into the business of breeding cows to break the Fulani monopoly or stand aside and let focused people be given resources to grow and possibly export meat someday.

The penalty for myopia, laziness and failure to utilize your resources when you have it is grabbing your fallow and barren land and handing it to others since you obviously do not know how to use it just like European colonialists came to harvests our resources we were clueless about with bribes and a few bottles whiskey, what else has changed. Middlebelt Governors particular Ortom of Benue get to work immediately or forever hold your piece.

The wages of neglect of agric and animal husbandry is to wake up and have foreigners running your land. Either do something right now or watch your land be appropriated and you be taught how it should be used because believe it or not RUGA is coming in another guise shape and form and there will be no excuses if you fail to act beforehand next time.

Nonsense and Ingredients, if you cannot do something do not block progress on cow rearing and stand aside for progress however tribally retrogressive it appears to you, but whose fault is it really?
