Fulani Beef Heading For Extinction and Major meat scarcity loading

Nothing can make one more unpopular than displaying even a hint of Buharism or sympathy for cows and honest herdsmen not Fulani militia, while not condoning killing, but Nigerians are so locked in their hateful mindsets to examine issues beyond their tribal prism.

This post by an Igbo person says it all. Nigeria is heading towards a major crisis when it will wake up one day and not find beef for sale anywhere, no one really likes pigs and goats are notoriously slow breeders.

Nigerians will wake up one day and suddenly realize there are no cows anymore, the Fulani, the custodians of Nigeria’s beef have given up the business and Nigeria must import meat by the ton, another import bill that will crash the naira.

President Buhari must be blamed for his catastrophic handling of internal security issues related to dealing with the Fulani militia and occupation of tribal land by nomadic Fulani clans and unrestricted grazing that has made Nigerians turn against “Fulani custodians” and their cows that will soon become extinct from collective hatred against everything cow.

Miyetti Allah and some Fulani are reveling under the protection of Buhari, but he is doing incalculable harm to the Fulani and to the survival of Nigeria’s cattle.

They all fail to understand that one day Buhari will have to step down from office and even if another Fulani like El-Rufai takes over they will all vacate in 10 years and then they will have to deal with decades of pent up anger in the form of draconian and repressive measures that will drive Fulani into extinction and lead to usurpation of their remaining herd of cows.

As is the case in Uganda where Idi Amin chased away the merchant class of Indians, non-Fulani tribes will find out they are totally ill suited to breed cows and Nigeria will have a major protein deficiency crises on its hand and be forced to buy expired and diseased meat from anywhere overseas, which will spoil in transit at choked up ports and rivers will be polluted with diseased meat tossed overboard from ships into the ocean and roads.

Nigerians are being pushed down that road by a combination of herdsmen and settler fights, unrestricted Fulani militia attacks and expansion and a growing abhorrence for Fulani meat after videos of bestiality to charm meat surfaced to refuse to buy or eat Fulani beef.

They sooner Buhari abdicates and a new leader emerges to enforce nonpartisan policies to deal with Fulani militia issues and habilitate herds of cows, Nigeria will have no meat within 10-15 years.
